Sabic Geleen
Cosota played a pivotal role in the portfolio management of Stork, overseeing the strategy and execution of projects. Major Revamp of all furnaces Olefin 4 site Sabic Geleen. 


NAM Gas Field Groningen

Cosota played a crucial role in managing Stork's portfolio, taking charge of strategizing and implementing Turnarounds (TA’s) for the NAM within the Gas Field Groningen. Our responsibilities included ensuring compliance with government requirements and mandatory scope execution in the Netherlands, as well as aligning structures for all projects and TA’s. We actively participated in strategy development and facilitated alignment between NAM, Stork, and Worley.

 

Furthermore, our involvement extended to improving collaboration and deliverables among these entities. Cosota conducted Turn Around Assurance Reviews for all projects and TA’s, demonstrating our commitment to quality and efficiency. Additionally, we served as consultants for NAM and Stork, supporting efforts to address environmental and safety concerns while enabling continued gas extraction in the face of challenges such as earthquakes and property damage, thereby showcasing our dedication to finding innovative solutions in complex situations.

Project NSRP Refinery Vietnam (VN)

TA Event Manager NSRP


Cosota took on the crucial role of TA Event Manager for the total Turnaround (TA) of NSRP (Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC) in Vietnam. This project was classified as a Mega Complex Turnaround by AP networks, budget 105 million, underscoring its scale and complexity. Throughout the project, our team achieved significant milestones and accomplishments

These include developing a comprehensive Turnaround Strategy, implementing robust Risk Management measures, and conducting detailed planning and execution activities. We facilitated Solomon RFCCU A/P Q2 comparison, developed the Turnaround Organization, and formulated a comprehensive HSE Turnaround Plan to ensure safety and compliance. Moreover, Cosota actively engaged in educating Refinery Staff at NSRP, optimizing scope development, and implementing cost control and procurement strategies. Our meticulous approach extended to material management and planning strategies, including norm times and factors for scheduling.

 

We conducted TAR reviews, prepared a detailed TA Manual, and executed the project flawlessly, ensuring smooth post-TA operations. Through our comprehensive approach and strategic execution, Cosota delivered exceptional results for the NSRP Refinery project in Vietnam.

Project Commodore ESBR Rubber Plant

Project Consultant & Senior Expert


Cosota served as Project Consultant & Senior Expert for a significant project undertaken by Arlanxeo in Saudi Arabia, known as Project Commodore. This project involved the establishment of an ESBR Rubber Plant, as well as Nd-BR/Li-BR Rubber Plants. As Senior Experts, our team provided invaluable insights and guidance across various disciplines, including HSE, Fel 1, 2, 3, Quality, Procurement, Operational Model development, Basic Design, Detail Design, Engineering, Scheduling, Risk Management, Risk Register creation, and Value Improvement Process implementation.

Despite our extensive contributions and meticulous planning, the project was put on hold due to the project's high Return on Investment (ROI). This prompted a return to the drawing board to reassess the situation. Though the project did not proceed to completion, Cosota's expertise and support were instrumental in laying the groundwork for its potential success, showcasing our commitment to excellence even in challenging circumstances.

Project Staatsolie NV Suriname (SA)

TA Event Manager Staatsolie


As Deputy Asset Manager, Cosota oversees the entire Turnaround (TA) process at Staatsolie, ensuring efficient and effective operations within a budget of 54 million USD. Achievements include developing lean strategies, optimizing preliminary TA planning, and streamlining scope and procurement strategies. Cosota also plays a pivotal role in training the organization in best TA practices and strategic benchmarks, setting up all TA-related procedures, instructions, and roles and responsibilities. Additionally, Cosota has authored a best practice TA manual. Notably, this marks the first TA of this magnitude in the existence of Staatsolie NV, Suriname (South America).
